This is a fixed-pose model of a science-fiction/anime item.
As seen in 1974’s “Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla,” Fake Godzilla joins the “Toho Daikaiju” figure series from X Plus! Emerging from a rock that flew from the crater of Mt. Fuji, Godzilla engages in combat with Anguirus, who rushes to the scene; although Godzilla overpowers Anguirus, the battle leaves him with a wound in his right arm, exposing his metal interior! He then appears at the petrochemical complex, to find another Godzilla already there — and as the battle between the two kaiju progresses, more and more of the first Godzilla’s metal core is exposed, and finally Fake Godzilla reveals his true identity as Mechagodzilla! This figure from X Plus recreates the slight differences between Fake Godzilla and his real counterpart, such as the shape of his head, the slight bulging of his dorsal fins, and the way the fingers of his hands are extended in a manner very reminiscent of Mechagodzilla. The metal parts peeking out from under his hide are the biggest clue as to his identity; by attaching cover parts that imitate skin to the metal parts, you can recreate various situations when the metal parts are not exposed.
